The Nitorum are the only alien species that have been encountered by humanity. The New Dawn approached them very carefully as the frail, humanoid Nitorum were very reserved and abstained from any kind of close interaction with humans. The Nitorum were quick to seek assistance from the New Dawn to help develop their resource poor civilization. Due to the reclusive nature of the Nitorum, very little is actually known about them and their culture.

Planet Type - Their homeworld is a barren, desert world. It appears that the deterioration of their home planet destroyed much of their civilization and their people.

The Nitorum control only a few planets in their home system. They have little military strength, with most ships having been provided by the New Dawn. They rely mostly on the New Dawn or hired mercenaries to defend themselves against the Conclave.
