Most of humanity falls under the government of the New Dawn. Their government is investing heavily in military and scientific development as it expands its borders to the less civilized fringes of the galaxy. While the New Dawn was completely inexperienced in dealing with alien cultures, they were quick to form a friendship with the Nitorum who they saw as a race whose development they could aid and about whom there was much to learn. Currently the New Dawn is engaged in trade with the Nitorum, and does its best to protect the Nitorum from Conclave attacks.
